I'm taking summer courses at my university. For my General Education requirements I have to take CMIS 108 ( or in other words learn how to use Word, Excell, PP for microsoft 07). I had a 93% in the class going into the final. The final time got moved forward 3 hours and I accidently skipped it thinking it was durring class hours. They gave us notice, i just didn't remember. My grade went down to a 78%. I want to kill myself right now.

and all my professor says is...

You have missed the final exam for CMIS 108. You did not notify me according to my makeup policy in the course which you should have read and did in fact sign. A makeup will not be given at this time.

Were you aware of the final being moved and all that? Granted you really can't do much about it except argue or something. That does suck though. I've missed a final in my three years of college so far but was allowed to take it the next day.

I'd argue. yeah it's passing but a C+ doesn't impress grad schools or employers... If there's absolutely nothing you can do then yeah, at least you didn't fail but I'd do whatever was in my power to get it changed. When did this happen?
