The Method To My Medium (www.myspace.com/TheMethodToMyMedium) is in need of a DRUMMER for their upcoming 10 day tour from August 21st to August 30th with 2 other bands, Callahan and Fight Fight Fight. Our current drummer, Andrew, unfortunately cannot take the time off from work to be able to do this with us (sucks, I know) so we're in desperate need of someone to step up and fill in his shoes!!
We feel as though we're well prepared for this and want you to be too. We have a brand new high top GMC Savannah tour van with a mounted flat screen tv inside (along with dvd player and nintendo Wii... to keep us entertained) and a solid 10 day tour booked across the midwest, with states including IN, IL, KY, TN, and OH...

In any of the dates that we can't find a house to stay at, we'll rent a hotel for the night (so we won't resort to sleeping in the van). We have cd's and brand new merch to sell to make money as well. We all have our own high-end equipment and expect that you will too.
We're open to drummers who live anywhere within a reasonable driving distance to Indiana (as long as you're able to drive here and practice with us a good amount before we leave for tour.. we really don't care where you're from...) and we'll even let you stay at one of our apartments for a few days before tour and/or days that we practice.
We want someone dedicated, who has their own NICE drumset, with above average talent (3-4 years+ experience), who can quickly pick up learning 5-6 songs (all the way through) from our album (and maybe one cover) and be able to play them night after night for 10 days. You don't have to have toured before, but you have to be prepared for it. Please no one who's into drugs, or is in general a douche bag. Also, please make sure that you're able to play through the songs all the way through and that you're an above average drummer... we don't want to be mean, but we don't want anyone who will waste our time, as well as waste their own time.
*Please respond to us via a message ASAP and let us know who you are and your experience. It wouldn't hurt if you could make some sort of video/audio of yourself playing along to the songs, so we can get an idea of your talent level before we start practicing with you.
**Also, if you feel as though you meet these requirements but you can't play all 10 days of the tour (but you can play at least 7-8 shows) then hit us up and we'll definitely consider you as well.
***Finally, even if you are not a drummer yourself but you KNOW someone who might be interested and is qualified, PLEASE do us a favor and message them and direct them towards us. It would be a huge help.
