this is about a dream that i had a few days ago. it was a little werid to have a dream like this......
Left the airport on my way home to you,
flying up at 30,000 feet, i think of you and me,
my fear of flight slips away when i think of you,
one last night falling asleep alone,
i would give so much for you to be sleeping in my arms tonight,
i nod off with thoughts of you keeping me warm through this flight,
radio static rings in my head but i ignore the noise,
i thought it was a kid with some toys,
the plane rocks and shakes, something isnt right,
flashes through the sky seem to light up the night,
"engine 1 and 2 have failed", says the pilot,
all i can do i remain silent,
as mothers hold their childeren,
husbands hold their wives,
knowing what has happened i'll put use to my life,
so ive written this letter to you, on this dirty flight napkin,
tucked it in my pocket near my heart,
im sorry i couldnt make it home tonight,
i love you,
ill miss you,
guess 747 wasnt our number tonight...
