New features I've noticed:

1. Being able to walk and move objects
2. Hand plants
3. girl characters
4.acid drops and any other sweet foot moves

Looks like thay stuck with the San Vanelona theme again. I'd prefer more of a New York/Chicago feel, but being able to climb and walk to difficult to reach spots is more than enough to make me happy.

I'm definitely excited for this, and the hall of meat definitely looks interesting, which in the IGN interview they made it seem like it was gonna be a lot of fun. As a whole, should be solid both on and off xbox live.

yes and i can't effing wait!! i actually played through the first Skate. for about the 20th time today. i cant believe that they found a way (and from what ive seen, an almost PERFECT way) to build upon the first one.

not to mention being able to move objects, foot plants, hippie jumps, cavemans (im assuming) as well as the inclusion of some ridiculous skaters (duffy, cardiel, koston, johnson (i was appalled that he was not in the first), appleyard, etc)

suffice it to say, i simply cant wait for this game, its going to be glorious.

that's funny cause i was playing it with my sister and one of my brother's friends today, and they were absolutely dreadful at it (i mean, they couldnt even pull off an ollie). i was expecting them to put the controller down and say "that sucked" after the round was over, but i was surprised to hear them say, "wow, that was a lot of fun, let's play again!"

Haha, the whole game runs terribly, but I'm having a ton of fun with it so far, and yeah, I've noticed it's tougher than the first game as well.

could be smoother, but the only real problem i've noticed is sometimes when you wipe out, and hit another skater or object, your guy will fly up to 50 feet in the air for no apparent reason.

Fair enough. Mine freezes every now and again, and everything looks super jagged every once in a while.

I have this for the 360, I still like the first game more. But I'm glad that playing online has been considerably changed for the better, such as the absence combo multiplier bar when doing spot battles, too many people abused that in the last game.

another glitch i found is that sometimes when you want to get on the board you will get launched in the air and go flying.

My 360 RRoD'd the day i was going out to buy this. :-(
