if you made posts that people agreed with or thought were intelligent (more so the former), people could choose to give you scene points. the amount of scene points that you got from a member was determined by the amount of scene points that they had. you could also give negative points if you didn't like what someone had to say. it was kind of lame, but it made things fun.
