Now this band is praised here and there, but "Acrobatic Tenement" is a pretty crappy album. Is "Relationship Of Command" that much better?

That being said, I love Sparta and Mars Volta, but fuck, 'Tenement' is just really bad!

yeah, get relationship of cammand definitely, download some songs off it to sse if you like them though, get one armed scissor, sleepwalk capsules, and invalid litter dept.

I don't like the composition, I find it under-produced (flame away) and Cedric's voice is just annoying at times.
It's got some decent songs, like 'Ticklish' and 'Porfirio Diaz', but all in all the songs just aren't that good. I'll admit I had high expectations when I bought it, and it just didn't live up to it at all.

I think I like Acrobatic Tenement more than everything besides RoC. The production is fine for what it is. You must not listen to much music with bad production.

I didn't like Acrobatic Tenement at first but it eventually it grew on me.

Relationship of Command is one of my favorite albums of all time. Plus you can't beat Iggy Pop doing some guest vocals on one of the songs.
