An update from The Bled:

"Today we parted ways with our long time friend and bass player Michael Celi. It was by far one of the hardest decisions we have made as a band. There are no bad feelings between us and Celi, it was a decision based on personal differences that we felt we irreconcilable. We know in our hearts that this is what is right for the band, and we are excited for what is to come. The tours we have booked will continue as planned, and we will be the first to let you know what is happening when we find a permenant replacement. As for celi we wish him the best of luck and lots of love, we know he will go on to do amazing things." - Love, The Bled

Why is there like a general thing going on where bands are dropping members, or losing members? It's going on with so many bands lately and quite frankly it's pissing me off. It's horrible. At least in this case with The Bled it's not ending with bad feelings or shit like that but still...

that sucks, that guy was pretty cool. pretty crazy live as well, if I remember correctly.

usually sucks when a band loses/replaces a member.

ummmmm wark if you could put in a good word for me and tell the bled i am practically the next fucking flea, thatd be great. if i was in the bled i'd totally bake you cookies everyday - chocolate chip, sugar, peanut butter, whatever you want. everyday. please babe?

Kicking Celi out was the STUPIDEST thing The Bled could have ever done. I understand about personal differences and all that, but he was amazing and added to their incredible live show. I hope they'll find a really good permanent replacement for him and I hope he joins or starts a great band. This is saddening.

ive never seen them live. im a fan, in the "i never met another gemini" video. he's nutts.

sigh..hope it doesn't ruin the band's chemistry.
