it's funny how in reality punk has lost it's meaning, yet there are musicians that actually live up to the meaning of a punk and some of those include rappers like sage francis, brother ali, eyedea and abilities, etc. so i think if bands that consider themselves to be "punk" can be mentioned daily on here i think other acts that actually have the mentality of a punk can too. maybe it's because i'm a fan of living legends, murs, common, etc. but i'm glad your posting news about them.

The funny thing is about this website is like all the stuff they post and talk about is pretty borderline punk music. Most the bands they talk about look and sound like every drive-thru records band but with a different, possibly more clever name. I mean who cares about Rufio and Over It or Madison or whoever the hell all these bands are. Frankly, most of the hip-hop/rap this website talks about are much better than the stupid "meaningful" pop-punk bands anyway. OutKast and Jay-Z are two of my faves in rap. Throw in some N.E.R.D and that's a good days worth of music. My favorite OutKast album has to be ATLiens or Stankonia. I just didn't like the split album as much. Maybe the massive overplay. Anyways, Andre 3000 has a jazzed up style. I dig.
