So How does Story of The Year's New Album compare to their other ones? Personally, I haven't heard much of it, so this is a question, not a quiz. Page Avenue had the emotion, In The Wake of Determination had the Power, and I heard that The Black Swan is a good hybrid. I guess I'll see. And of course I can look them up. I just want other people's opinions. Not because I want to see how popular it is, but because I just want to know what kind of an impact it has on Story of the Year's Fans. So fo anyone that's a fan of SOTY, wake up the voiceless. This is our revolution. ;-)

This is not really a weird post. I just find it interesting how you are asking when technology allows you to hear a lot of the album already. Honest opinion. I have seen them 6 times throughout their careers.
I loved Page Avenue to death. I also dug In The Wake though a lot of people hated it (when someone is commerical and decides to not be as much then people change their views, whatever). Anyway...In The Wake was sick. I agree with what you said though. But at the same time both albums had power and passion.
For your question answered: I feel The Black Swan is their best. I just wish this band, like many many other bands, would get more recognition. This album is straight up sick! If you were around when it was being streamed all the replies were positive. The first track alone is one of their best of all time.
I was just dissapointed at their choice of songs chosen for warped tour SF though I am going to be in the Sacto one next week. Maybe when they have their own tour it will be different.
The Black Swan is a very good hybrid album.

Is the sort of revolution where thousand of people die and the monarchy get beheaded via the guillotine?
