It's a an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plain Top in Honeyburst, it was on sale at Guitar Center for 299.99 and the original price is 449.99, score!

My friends could get that guitar for like 100. God thank you for giving my friends a GC employee discount.

Epiphone makes alright guitars. Good first guitar.

My friends invented guitars. And own every guitar center. And my dad could beat up your dad.

Edit: You didn't say this was your first guitar. Either way, nice guitar. I like epiphones. With a little work they can really shine.

damn for real that is a score, nice shopping. i cant think of anything better you can get for the price range. i am partial to the epi les paul though its my own primary guitar haha.

Yeah alot of people say that guitar center doesn't sell it for retail price but I looked on zzounds, musicansfriend, music123, and guitar center.com and it's all 449.99 and the b-stock version is 329.99 (only comes in ebony) so I think I got a pretty damn good deal, because it's almost brand new there's a tiny scratch.

yeah i spent around 550 on my plus top. i love it though it came in the most beautiful transparent blue color and you can see the ridges in the wood and everything, i havent found a les paul in a blue that nice anywhere else, neither gibson nor epiphone. blue is my favorite color.

Epis deserve a lot more respect then they get. A lot of "big bands" play Epis pretty religiously (the obvious that comes to mind are both Jack and Anthony of Bayside).

You need to always try to talk down the price at GC. I bought my Epiphone Les Paul Custom (White) with strap, strap locks, and SKB hard case ($180 value) for $600. The guitar's price tag read $499. Good deal. Good guitar. No need to a Gibson unless your budget isn't a problem.
