If you live in the Western New York area, This Day & Age (http://www.thisdayandagemusic.com) is having their CD release show tonight at The Showplace Theatre. Rory (http://www.roryrock.com) and The Spill Canvas (http://www.thespillcanvas.com) will be playing as well. Make sure you pick up their new album, ..Always Leave The Ground, as it truly is one of my favorites of the year and I'm sure majority of you will love it as well. If you haven't heard them, then check out their pureVOLUME page (http://www.purevolume.com/thisdayandage).

You're about a week late. It has NOTHING to do with money. Go search through the forums for the answer.

i was at the one eleven records showcase at Tribeca Rock club just last week. all the bands were amazing. they played super short sets, which was weird since Jinxed was a no show. the guys from both Rory and This Day and Age are super nice and really willing to talk to thier fans. (definitely pick up the Rory ep if you can - its only 5 bucks and totally worth it. see them if you can b/c they're all going back to school and wont be around until next year.)
even tho this day and age and rory were great, the spill canvas stole the show.

its so weird to see a local band getting "big". but they completley deserve it.
