I was definitely there, so amazing.
Not to be creepy, but were you in the front row in front of Leighton?

Did anyone else think The Dear Hunter was sort of disappointing at this show? Granted it was a small crowd, but Casey came off as an asshole. I thought their performance on The Fall of Troy tour a couple months ago blew this one out of the water, although the Smiling Swine encore was nice.

Hah, I actually left right after Lydia - I went solely for them.
As close-minded as this may sound, I'm more of a TREOS person, and for that, I've never been able to get into TDH. I respect Casey, by no means am I shunning him for leaving TREOS. It's just not the same hearing him if it's not on Between the Heart and the Synapse, if that makes sense.

Haha, not creepy at all. But yes, that was me. And I also left after Lydia played too. I wish they had more time to play though.

Pretty good set. I wish they would play longer. =). I am debating whether or not to go see them in MA. I don't know if I feel like navigating to the venue just for 7 songs. They are great though.

I knew you looked familiar, haha. I was two people to the left of you.
The three times I've seen them, it's always been half an hour set, and last night, I was surprised to find out that, as the supporting act, they had the same amount of time as the two openers. As solid as a set they played, I do wish they played more off This December..., though.

So jealous. I need to see this band.

Haha, awesome! I was kinda off in my own little world at that time, so unless you were the girl in the blue shirt, I don't know if I saw you (or anyone else, ha)...
I was disappointed too because I heard they had a 45 minute set slot on this tour, but both times I saw them (Philly and Baltimore), they played for barely 30 minutes. I also requested Stay Awake last night, but they didn't play that either. Hopefully they get to play longer sets on their upcoming east coast shows because I need to see them play more than 7 songs at a time... And I agree about playing more This December... stuff. They played December in Philly which was awesome, but I would've loved even more. Heck, I would've loved to see them play every song. Ha. Wow, that was a long post. My bad.

I was on the other side of the blue shirted girl, haha. I'm rather an observant type of person, but I completely understand being focused on nothing but Lydia. It was a good show.
And if they had played "Stay Awake"... I probably would've lost it. I love that song. I saw them back in 2006 at Warped Tour, so obviously I've seen an all December set, but I didn't think that'd be one of, if not the only time I'd see those songs played live. I need some more "It's In Your Blood" in my life.
I saw them play in NYC last friday.
I think they played everything off of Illuminate minus the last two tracks which I loved because it is one of my favourite albums of 2008. They also played Smile you've won, some other song off of This December.., and an acoustic song (I'm not a fan of that album so I don't know what their titles are). They were the only band that played which was why they had a long set.
They are really good live but there was something about the lead singer's vocals that keeps me from saying they were great. He kind of lacks the dynamics you hear in his recorded vocals on Illuminate.

I wanted to go to that show so bad, and now you made me so jealous that I couldn't make it up there for that. :-(

Oohh, ok. Yea, I'm pretty observant too, but I don't remember if I saw you :-( ... And I'm trying to get them to play at my school on their east coast college tour thing. It'll only cost $1,500-$3,000 to bring them in, so hopefully that happens. Then I might be able to get a longer, better set.

If you get them to play at Penn State, I would love you, considering I'm about 45 minutes away at Lock Haven

Still waiting for "Stay Awake" to be thrown into the lineup, looks like a good set nonetheless.

I requested that the other night, but it was not played. I was a little disappointed :-(
