The Vinyl Summer Recordings (http://www.thevinylsummer.com) are still hard at work on the Counting Crows Tribute compilation. The bands that are confirmed to be on board (as well as the song they are contributing) for the project are noted in the replies, and there are more yet to be announced.

Adam Duritz (lead singer of counting crows) graduated from my high school and I always see him walking around in Berkeley.. hard to miss with those crazy dreadlocks of his.. saw him just last week walking with some cute girl right behind me, totally nice guy.

I still don't know why between the buried and me didn't do Ghost Train, with their name in the lyrics.
And someone has to do Anna Begins, The High Life, and St. Robinson's Cadillac Dream

Counting Crows is an amazing band and "A Long December" is my favorite song, so I hope Bayside does a good job with it. I'm excited to hear this CD.
