Yeah its a fucking amazing album. Its just kinda weird to see an album that long be on one vinyl. Kinda makes me skeptical about its sound. I don't even know if I'd consider PE better than WTC, though. Its a tough call. You ever listen to the Roots?

Nah, I actually don't listen to much rap. Its such a broad genre that I've been slowly tackling it over the last few years. I need to listen to NWA and The Roots soon though. (I think PE has just made more great albums and been more consistent than wu-tang, and I agree with PE's politics more)

Roots and NWA are fucking legit and you should definitely listen to the Roots if you agree with PE's politics. I never noticed the politics in WTC though, they just seemed like an amalgamation of a bunch of 10 percenters.
If I ever figure out how to upload an entire album at a time, I'll put up "Straight Outta Compton"

It's 5 percent not 10 percent :-p WTC doesn't really flaunt their politics much though it is evident they are 5% in their lyrics. I can't 100% remember, but I think it was X-Clan that was the band that is basically full on 5%'ers and it's ahuge part of their music.
Honestly, maybe it's because I only recently got into rock, but rock is a lot broader than rap is...

If you agree with PE then maybe check out X-Clan's album To the East, Backwards... they are on of the other early heavy political groups. The only other I can think of right now is Paris.

Haha, the entire show was guys dying, guys getting raped, guys doing drugs, or minor variations. I agree about the last couple seasons except for anything involving the O'Reilly brothers. The ending to that storyline was amazing and a fucking tearjerker, damn Irish blood. And I'm pretty sure Supreme Allah was a 5 percenter, because the Homeboys didn't like him and Said refused to accept him (although I haven't seen the season for a while, and knowing how I'm doing right now on being right, I'm probably wrong)

If my recently disappeared roommate ever gets his service reactivated or contacts one of our friends I'll see what I can get off him. Had shitloads of rap vinyl, but I don't think it should be too hard to find since most rap (or at least the worthwhile stuff) is put on vinyl for DJs.
