Ok, I know this band all the cliche scene kids like, but I am in love with this song..

"Padriac My Prince"

Has anyone heard it? The lyrics are surprisingly sad, I almost want to cry when I hear this song, and I don't cry easily.

Bright Eyes is amazing, why does it matter if they're supposedly 'the band all the cliche scene kids like'?

They like them because they're good as hell.

Bright Eyes are liked because they kick the shit out of a lot of the bands out there. I love them.

I don't think I've heard that song, but I will check it out.

It's off "Letting Off The Happiness," which is in my book the best Bright Eyes album. If anyone wants anything Bright Eyes, my sn is NaturallyCynical, I have his whole discography, including an early recording he did in 1994.

My favorite Bright Eyes song is either, "Let's Not Shit Ourselves" or "You Are The Roots..."

I love Bright Eyes. In case you hadn't noticed.

I'm a "Drunk Kid Catholic" girl, myself... but of course all the songs mentioned here are great ones. Well, they're all great. :blah:

It doesn't matter if all the cliche scene kids like them, I was just stating it.

I think BE is amazing, and that is all that really matters. :)

I love bright eyes too........i've been listening to alot of "Lifted or the story is in the soil, keep your ear to the ground"and i love the song "Lover i dont have to love"on it.

Conor obersts' band "desaparaceidos"is awesome too.

i like bright eyes a lot, just sometimes i can't take conor's stuttering singing style, you know what i mean, it sounds like he's pushing out the words, but that's what i guess everyone likes about him.

I know what you mean.

The singing style, the 'stuttering' as you called it, although I don't really know what I'd call it, does get a little old after a while.

But not too annoying :)
