I meant to post a thread about this as soon as I came home from work, but I got caught up at YouTube looking through all the various footage of his performances I could find of him over at YouTube, feeling a little sad, and a little puzzled and happy all at the same time, like his music always does to me.

Yesterday (August 6th), was the birthday of Elliott Smith, if he was still around he would have turned 39. I just felt that deserved a mention. Hope it was a good one, wherever you spend your days now. Looking forward to hearing some new stuff from you whenever I get to the place you are.
