well i went to the warped tour in boston on the 19th. and it kicked ass.

well i saw bayside live. that was amazing. they are great live.

i met chris and spencer and aaron from underoath and talked to them. they are awesome guys.

i met the guys from tokyo rose. the nicest guys i have met that are in bands. they were so nice and i can't explain how friendly they were.

underoaths live set was sooooo awesome. it was mint!

the kinison put on a great show too! they let kids on the stage and let them dance. it was cool! nice guys too.



mosh pits are scary though.

highlights:
+singer of mcr hitting himself in the face with his mic and bleeding from the mouth throughout his set
+allister and their new songs
+skankin to big d and the kids table
+80's dancin to coheed

lowlights:
-everyone who was there who wasn't me, including: tubby 12 year old girls, all the "non-conformist" punks who all happen to look exactly alike, crowd surfers who didn't follow the rules of crowd surfing (you only get one ride, it should be during a song, keep your feet up, make sure it isn't a slow song)

my highlights of dc:

-the giant, and properly done circle pit during lars fredericksen and the bastards
-singing along every word to the bouncing souls set
-rise fucking against
-mocking that god awful bleed the dream band while waiting for motion city soundtrack
-dancing a jig to flogging molly (goddamn right)
-completely avoiding yellowcard and story of the year thanks to excellent scheduling
-actually enjoying sugarcult's live show all the way through for once, as the sun went down
-a general lack of dumbass crowd surfers or meathead moshers in the pits of every single band i saw

low points:

-not enough ska and way too much half ass 5th rate screamoshit polluting all the side stages

the traffic was really bad, i almost missed my set playing cause it was so fucking bad, we ended up running and getting a police escort to the gate. it was badass.

my englishtown nj warped tour experience

the good
-hearing allisters new songs
-seeing thursday atleast once (just incase they break up)
-finally seeing piebald live
-meeting piebald and getting my picture taken with travis (the singer)
-taking back sunday actually not sucking as much as i thought they would
good prices

the bad
-we were late to thursday so we spent a good part of for the work force drowning pushing forward and eventually made it past the sound board tent
-thursday only played 5 songs
-i dont think people got the news that good charlotte was not going to be playing there because i must have seen a million of their shirts
-crowd surfers going up much more than once

the ugly
stuck in the parking lot not moving for two and fucking one half hours. we didnt move for that fucking long, and then we had over a 2 hour ride home. it sucked, dick, for coke. fuck warped tour parking.
