Below is an update from Eisley (http://www.eisley.com):
Most of you guys know this, but we keep a very current, very hefty blog updated on eisley's forum. It encompasses 32 weeks of journaling about this first, full length record. Check out information and discussion now in progress: "Eisley Full Length - Live from LA" journal
Right now, we're in LA finishing up the last week of tracking (3 songs). At the same time, Jerry Finn has been mixing 10 completed songs from a variety of producers, namely Rob Schnapf. It's sounding totally amazing. Can't wait for the release.
The release date is being penciled in right now by management/label. The latest I've heard is that it's slated for some time in November, but don't hold us to it. Fall is the most difficult time to release a record - it's when all the big labels put outtheir biggest artists. Marketing dollars, store promotions, press, shelf space and radio-play all favor the giants in the land. Stay tuned to eisley.org to find out news and information about final dates.
Well, we're super busy... tracking is happening here in the studio but I have to go. Thanks.
Boyd
