You can check the replies for Motion City Soundtrack (http://www.motioncitysoundtrack.com)'s blog entries while they have been in Japan with Blink 182 (http://www.blink182.com) for a little update of what's going on out there.

after 15 minutes of battling the japanese computer, i have overcome and triumphed in glorious victory. although i have yet to figure out aol instant messenger... i have found our blog without assistance. tonight i partook of the following:
raw oyster, cooked salmon fat, miso soup with shrimp heads, crab brains, raw jellyfish, a raw fish that watched me eat it, fermented soybeans, fermeted soybeans and tuna, and several other raw pieces of sushi. brendan from atticus beat me out because he was able to eat the squid tentacles and i was not. curse you brendan.
the first show in tokyo was rad as hell. the kids were crazy. we walked around earlier and i found a store called, "sexy dynamite london." the english phrases all over tokyo are hillarious. on the subway was my favorite: "girls be pinky!" it's late and i'm paying about $3 every ten minutes for the use of our hotels computer. time for bed to let the food settle. thanks to jack and ken for taking us out, and k2 for deciding where.

hey this is mark from the blink-182 rock band. the guys from motion city are having a blast over in japan. they have spent every dollar they have on toys and video games. after six shows, they are starting to smell very bad. maybe they should shower. their new songs sound great. can't wait to record them.

Time is winding down in Japan. It's been amazing. Nagoya wins for best crowd so far I think. It's been so fun meeting everyone after the shows here as well. Everyone is so nice.
Today we travel via bullet train to Tokyo. I'm very excited, everyone keeps raving about Tokyo. AND, there's a 6 floor toy store! I am so ready. It's a day off today, so hopefully I spend my time wisely.
It's too early. Why am I awake? I have nothing exciting to say.
Todays celebrity birthday, Carrie Ann Moss is 37.

greetings from the dressing room @ osaka zepp. mark says it's boring. we disagree. he and tom keep turning off the lights on us. they think they're funny. we disagree. sort of. ok, not really. they're an amazing comedic duo. think carrot top meets gallagher. uhm... anyway, not too much to report tonight. we just played. the crowd was the best yet - in japan. they clapped and chanted along. that was nice (thank you, osaka). maxeen has been rockin' hard. blink, well.. need i say more? they rule the stage always. i need to drink more water. wow random. tomorrow we take the bullet train for the first time. i'm excited. 200 mph. fast. iPod is charged. i'm ready.
alright, gotta go. may have new shoes next post. keep ya fingaz crossed. peace out! more soon. m.

here we go again! my blogger is up and running after a few weeks of being out of service. how is japan? funny you should ask. so far everything about it is amazing. i enjoy eating strange foods. had me some sushi the other day. eel was my favorite. learning a few words here and there. bought a camera with a wide angle lense today. wasabi chips are fantastic. green tea is plentiful. i can't think about too much specifics right now. finished reading the grapes of wrath for the first time ever and it was pretty kick ass. nearly got stuck in the subway today. boring blogs. sorry.

lost in translation explains exactly what is going on right now. it is 8 am i have been up since 6 am because my body thinks it is 5 p.m., it is so strange. Last night was my first night in osaka and our tour manager K2 took us and maxeen out to some dinner at a Japanese restaurant. It was great although even though i am a fan a sushi there was a ton of stuff i was afraid of eating. K2 ordered for the table, so as a joke he order this fish that they gut and pile its inside next to itself and put it on the table. gross. but i guess if you put soy sauce on its face it tries to breath and twitch. It was fucking scary let me tell ya.
but yes so far japan is amazing i never expected to come here and i love it.
that is all for now more japan bloggs to come.
