no it's not that, it's just the whole cd seems really repetitive to me and i'm not saying that straylight is going to be the best thing ever. just with all the hype northstar's album had, esp on this site, i was disappointed. But i'm not trying to take away from the kind of band northstar is, they write heartfelt lyrics on par with any band out there (yes i think straylight writes on the same level)...i just don't like people bashing straylight just because they think everyone likes them cause john nolan is in the band. to be honest, there are some songs on the WYWTB CD that are just as good as anything on TAYF (not lyrically of course) but i guess people are entitled to their opinions. I would put Pollyanna behind GUK, TBS, Midtown, Name Taken, Butch Walker, Hot Rod Circuit, Modest Mouse, and Underoath as far as albums of the year.
