Kiss is an overhyped, yet underrated band...one of the only examples...they have marketed themselves to the point where people that don't know their music like them more than people that do know their music.

They are my favourite classic rock band, as I own most of their discography....Dynasty being my favourite of their records.

Kiss are definitely one of my favorite bands from the 70's and 80's. So many catchy and well played songs which are among the best songs out there.

Listening to Alive!, it's so easy to hear why they got huge. That record is just a tight, swaggering behemoth. Nobody does slightly sleazy glam-ish rock better than they do it on that album.
