Same. I think I'd like to see Boosh live, but on TV it's just bizarre and not as funny as I thought it would be.
Goth detectives on Big Fat Quiz of the Year was one of the greatest things ever though.

Loved the Milky Joe episode on the island, really funny. Noel Feldings pretty funny on shows like Never Mind the Buzzcocks and that. Loved Julian Barrat and Noel in Nathan Barley that show was brilliant only got one season like 4 years ago

Ha, I loved that quiz. Plus it goes on for a stupidly long amount of time for a quiz.
Haha yeah, but that just means more hilarious moments. Looking forward to this year's, hopefully Noel and Russell get their title back haha.

Vince is a riot. I loved the first season when they were at the zoo. I'm at the beginning of the third season now and it just seems to be lacking something :-(
Yeahh, I know what you mean.. But I still loved it. I have seen every episode over and over and series one is definatly the best in my opinion..
Who is your favourite character?

I've watched some episodes online, it's a pretty funny show

i love this show, too bad BBC America won't run it.
I think they have a lot of the episodes on surf the channel.
What is that?
It's something they do here in the UK at the end of each year. It's like a 2 hour quiz show about the last year, only it's not so much a quiz and more of an excuse to make jokes and laugh at it instead.

can't stand it. although noel fielding does seem semi-decent and is always good fun on buzzcocks. even more so when amstell rips into him for saying 'quirky' things for cheap laughs.

In my opinion, the best thing ever on television. I'm bordering on obsession here...

if you love Noel Fielding you should check out season 2 of the IT Crowd
Richmond Avenal
Portrayed by Noel Fielding: Richmond is a goth whose introduction to extreme metal bands such as Cradle of Filth instigated his downfall from being Denholm's second-in-command to his current position in the IT Department. He works in the server room behind "the Red Door" all on his own, shunned by the rest of the department, who find his affected sense of gloom annoying even though he personally describes himself as "cheerful". When Richmond tells stories, he tends to pause and look off into space dramatically, puzzling those around him. He is shown to read Heat, moments after a comment Roy had made that he did not know any heterosexual men who read Heat. It is later implied that Richmond may be bisexual, being shown at the end of the sixth episode of series one waking up with Denholm Reynholm after a drunken party (although both react with immediate horror), but also being shown in series two episode four leaving with and later sleeping with Jessica from Jen's dinner party. Richmond's absence from series three is due to him having scurvy, or so Moss explains. Richmond didn't appear in Series 3 due to Noel Fielding's busy schedule.
you'll recognize Richard Ayoade (who plays Moss and is ridiculously hilarious) as well who has guest starred in episodes of The Mighty Boosh...
love both shows a ton..

No, no sorry I meant "most recent" series was a while ago. Think they are concentrating on a Mighty Boosh film next though. They, as well as Simon Farnaby (Simon McFarnaby), are starring in a complete seperate film to the Boosh too...although it's also directed by the same guy who directs the show. It's called "The Bunny and The Bull":

Noel FIelding is coming up with a new show in the vein of the Boosh which starts this month in the UK. Called Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy, it's meant to be ten times as weird, has new characters, no Julian Barrett, his brother (Naboo) is in it and the guitarist/songwriter of Kasabian has written al the music for it. More info here (http://www.channel4.com/programmes/noel-fieldings-luxury-comedy).
The main characters (played by Noel and others) include Andy Warhol, an anteater, a NYC cop with a knife wound that talks, a superhero with a thousand eyes and more.

Yeah, I'm quite not sure how it's going to work. I like the music idea more than I do anything else, I tend to prefer Noel when he's just being himself rather than the characters nowadays. But it's been a while since he's done anything like that, so maybe it will be fresh. Didn't realise Ayoade was a part of it though, that's awesome, Julian Barratt will be missed though.
