Anthony Green/Good Old War/Person L
Thursday August 8, 2008
Grog Shop
Cleveland Heights, OH
Missed Person L. Kind of wished I atleast saw a bit of their set.
Good Old War was really good and it made me realize that I have t get their CD, I enjoyed them more this time then I did at The Bamboozle 2008. Of course Anthony came out and did a song with them.
Anthony Green was great. He sounded on key and on top of his game all night, and Good Old War did aslo. The two of them mixed together is really something wonderful on stage. Anthony talked and joked around with the crowd quite a bit and was having a great time. He actually wasn't moving around and acting all weird-like as he does with Circa Survvie but when playing guitar and stuff it can't be hard I guess. As for the setlist - they played most of the album with a GOW and CS song thrown in there for good mesaure. They changed up the ending to Miracle Sun to the "punk rock ending" (as Ant called it) which even then sounded neat and the version they did of Semi-Conestructive Crictisim blew the original version out of the water and was jaw dropping. After the show I finally got to meet Anthony and talk to him for a bit which made my night.
