Personally I thought the NOF CD only had a few really good tracks. Most of the songs kind of bored me. I think it's a good CD to have as background music while you're doing something else, but it isn't a CD you can sit there and just listen to.

same here. i bought this cd mostly for 'come on' which is a freakin great song and because it was on sale. however, i don't find myself listening to this that much. i've mostly just been waiting for recover and jimmy eat world (yes i know i can download them but its so much better holding out until you can get the actual cd...well okay i already downloaded recover but you get the point). oh and also i've been waiting for my damn hot rod and saves the day...still not here

There is a world outside of watered down punk rock, and once you figure that out, you'll see the A Small Victory cd for what it is. Just a cd that gets released, sounds like a hundred that have come before it, and is buried and forgotten soon after. I feel bad for Lobster, they had a really good direction going in my opinion. There was a time when they released a string of records by bands like Yellowcard, Mock Orange, Staring Back, and Over It. All which were keepers. The two more recent releases by Days Like These and A Small Victory are very very mediocre.
