Yes I agree....their new cd was a disappointment to me...after they claimed that the new cd would sound like the Renaissance EP...this song is great....

why do people say stuff like this? this is supposed to be music inspired by the movie. and going back to what i said a few weeks ago when a similar post was made, what difference does it make if an artist expresses their religious beliefs on a compact disc? that's like me saying "sum 41, good song but i cant believe their from canada" (not necessarily my beliefs). why are people so quick to judge these days?

i dont think he was upset about the fact someone was expressing their beliefs. I tihnk he was just saying this song really doesnt sound or come across as something you'd find on that soundtrack...I feel the same exact way.

Thanks for backing me, cause you just said it...i dont care if they wanna express their beliefs im just saying it doesn't seem like it fits in to that soundtrack..but thats my opinion.

That's a pretty good song, but I have to admit that with every new MxPx song I miss their older sound more and more.

didnt mean to sound like i was bagging on you in the last one. sorry about that. there's two soundtracks i believe. one soundtrack from the actually movie and then one that is music inspired by the movie.

the mxpx song is weak and like everything they put out before.
i do not care if he likes to express his religious ideas even if i do or do not completely agree with them, he has every right to do so.
but in my opinion, the song isn't fit for the album and is not worthy enough to go on a christ soundtrack. i think they couldn't picked something better and something that would fit better.

I dont have a problem with people expressing there religious beliefs. However I think its dumb that Mark is helping support one of the biggest scams of all time. I expected mxpx too because of how religious they are but not mark.

maybe mark is religious too?

Im sure mark is. But it seems to me like Mxpx is religious to the point of ignorance, i have no problem with people who are religious but too me i think it should be private and not interfere with everyday life. Im sure a lot of you will disagree with me though.

What you believe in should effect your everyday life or else it doesn't make you a whole lot different than someone who doesn't really believe in anything. Something to think about anyway. Also quite a rad song, I'm thinking they should sign with Fat Wreck for at least one album cause the Rennaissance EP was so good.

Has anyone heard the blink182 song, Not Now? Maybe this is what the grown-ups in blink182 are feeling these days. People change even if might be awkward at times.

I'm assuming that you've never met them before. I grew up in the same town as MxPx and they're just like everyone else, so I don't know how you say that they're religious to the point of ignorance. They work in a pizza parlor, they drink beer (well mike does), and they throw partys and have fun. Could you explain how they're ignorant? 'Cause it just seems like you're talking about something you don't even know about. Have you ever been to an mxpx show? I've never seen them preach to the kids, whenever I've talked to them I've never been preached too, and I certainly don't understand how they aren't private? Did someone point a gun at your head and say "Download this song and praise Jesus"? No so maybe next time know what you're talking about, also I don't understand how something as big as religion doesn't affect your everyday life?

You just summed up MxPx quite well. I think people immediately assume that because they're Christians, they're out to shove their beliefs down everyone's throat. Not the case with them. Excellent band, great morals. You would be foolish to find fault in that.
