Who wants to do this? I've never done an auction style draft before and they do them for free. I'd love to do one. Obviously it's essential you be at the draft or you'd get screwed. I'll just gauge interest before creating the league.

baseball is very, very different from football in that regard. Because you can find everyday players everywhere. Where as in football, as soon a the league gets over 12 people, you just straight up run out of running backs, period. And if one of two if your guys get injured, your season is over.

well, not really. Tout Wars, the expert of all expert fantasy baseball leagues, does something like that. You have $100 to spend on free agents throughout the year. If you want to pick one up, you say "Garrett Anderson for $3" and then the other teams have a chance to respond and outbid you, it happens daily. The $100 are also completely tradeable, so if you run out you can deal some of your players for more money to spend on the waiver wire later on. It's actually pretty cool.

i'm hoping that one of my depth running backs (norwood or slaton, i'm not really too high on mcallister) has a breakout season. i think that norwood, if actually given a good workload, can do very well for me.

and your two starting WRs were the two i was targeting for my second starting spot. but i'm pretty happy with Williams there, as long as Detroit sticks to their pass-heavy offense (please) and he can stay healthy.

The tandem of Brady and Tomlinson is pretty scary (and Fitzgerald and Marshall are certainly threatening), but your team is beatable. If 3 or 4 of your players have good weeks at any one time, though, you'll be pretty tough to beat.

it's not hard. i pay full, deep attention to 1 team. then I pay pretty good attention to 2 more. next, 3 more - then i have 2 more that i check once a week. i just prioritize them. it's really easy for football. doing that many for baseball is way tougher.

I woke up today thinking I should have really comboed it with Stewart in there (I actually almost did it at the last minute), but I left Ronnie Brown in because I always think he is going to do decent, but he sucks and I shot myself in the foot by not because that would have put me in a great position had I played him. I had nothing to lose but to play my Pigpen/Mark Bradley combo I'm just having fun. Go Chefs! Hopefully a Lions win soon gives us a run at the #1 pick!

I don't like their format, all my other leagues were on Yahoo (6 of them) so it just became a total afterthought or no thought at all.
