There's a few local bands playing but I don't know them well enough to ask to bum one off of them.
I had initially planned on it but all of my friends don't like music as much as I do so to them it's "just another show".

I got into them when they just had demo tapes out. It was so good I was hooked. It was funny at first there was a lot of shit talking on them at the time calling them a silent majority rip off band. Maybe they did sound like SM but i COULDN'T THINK OF A BETTER BAND TO SOUND LIKE
The Movielife Has a Gambling Problem is still my all time favorite EP.
I know there's at least two songs on YouTube.

I loved The Movielife a ton. Vinny is the man. I like the I Am The Avalanche stuff as well but The Movielife had a lot of potential. I really liked the direction the band was heading with 40 Hour Train.

I feel like I only know you for your singer/songwriter and Springsteen worship. ;-) But it all depends. If you dig melodic hardcore? I'd start with This Time Next Year and Forty Hour Train Back to Penn. In that order. But if you like pop-punk? Give the Has A Gambling Problem EP a spin. Their first full-length (It's Go Time) is more hardcore than pop-punk, but is far slower than This Time Next Year (LP #2).
Really, though? Not a weak release in the entire discography. But uh, I'm not a fan boy or anything... ;-)

No underestimation at all, sir! Haha. Just don't know what you dig outside of those realms is all I was sayin'...Anyway. Yeah. If you love Lifetime, dig New Found Glory, and enjoy bands who play like they mean it? You should be able to back 'em.

Email or call Maxwell's. I've been there twice but I don't remember if it was 16+ or 18+. I do remember having to show ID, but the second time I went I brought my friend who was definitely not 18.
No LI?! /offended

I don't suppose anyone has good quality videos of JAMESTOWN and / or FACE OR KNEECAPS
All the ones online seem to be shitty TV rips... I think I have them on Movielife DVDs / Drive-Thru DVDs but they're stuck at my parents house.
NEED Movielife!
If anyone could help me out I'd be eternally grateful! Thanks!

Can't wait for the last show. I never thought I'd be able to actually see The Movielife. I got so bummed out when they played Bamboozle in New Jersey and I couldn't make it either times. I should pick up a ticket to the show soon, I haven't yet, and I'll hate myself forever if it sells out.
Very curious who the openers are though. I'd be perfectly content if it was a band along the lines of Glassjaw or something, but I'd also love it if they could get some really solid pop-punk bands on the bill as support.

Vinnie's tweeted several times that they won't be announced until they are on stage ready to play. https://twitter.com/#!/vinniecaruana/status/104564132891738112
Kind of annoying. I hope they're good and "special".

Glassjaw would be my best guess for an opener. I could see Brand New opening, but they're too big, so it won't happen. Can't really think of any others that would be considered special and have to be kept a secret.

I read somewhere that they may shut down public transit system on Saturday which would maroon me in the city since I was taking the train. Plus, a lot of people will be evacuating and it will be chaos. I'm just staying home...which sucks.

I was worried about the trains too, but they won't get shut down until mid day Saturday if that helps.

Knowing me I would stay out too late, get too drunk, and not wake up until it's already shut down. Better safe than sorry.

If you dig their other records, definitely get on that. For the most part, it's not as fast as This Time Next Year, and not quite as poppy as the rest but...I dig it immensely.
