Anyone have any ideas on how to make my clean channel not suffer from a huge tone suckage via the Ibanez TS-9?

I'm just running Guitar --> Cable ---> TS-9 ---> Cable ---> Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.

I know that there will obviously be some loss, but it's absolutely destroying my tone when clean, and I can't seem to find any EQ settings to help fix it. Anyone have any suggestions besides either selling the TS-9 and getting a Keeley modded TS-808, or sending in my TS-9 and have them mod it and make it true bypass?

You could pick up an A/B switch instead, but that would probably set you back over $40 and it only costs $55 for Keeley to modify it to true bypass. If you're into soldering, then it would only cost a couple bucks to mod it yourself...

Hm... yeah, good point.

I haven't gotten into soldering yet, I probably should though. It'd save me time (well, as in last minute things)/money.
