further with carabba -- 9.5/10, further with jason -- 8/10, further with new guy -9/10. they should just give up. it's sense field.

new std should sell thousands more. thousands.

No way man, give Jon time...this album was essentially written for Jason to sing.

I REALLY like the new FSF. I, somewhat shamefully, have never even heard Sense Field. However, I think the new album fits him well enough. This album is change in vocals and lyrics, I think, since there are far less lyrics, and more repeated phrases. If this works well, it's a good sound, and on this album, it works well.

I don't understand why you would want a band you're rating as a 9/10 to "just give up". And I think "hide Nothing" doesn't come close to anything else they've done, but it's still a good album, just not as good.

John's voice is so light and airy that you can't think anything but Sense Field when you hear the new FSF. sounds way too similar.

The Postal Service was huge at my college last year, just totally blew up, and we're talking about kids with some crazy taste in music, so I'd imagine it was the same elsewhere.
