Green Day (http://greenday.com,) now has a purevolume page (http://purevolume.com/greenday). They currently have the new single and some silly ring tones up, but keep checking back for more off their new album!

yeah...mtv2 is having a "green day day" on sept. 17th with videos, a making the album: American idiot special, and some other cool stuff....so you might want to write that down somewhere. Also...the entire cd will be on mtv's the leak starting on sept. 14th....so new stuff is less than two weeks away!

not a big fan of Green Day... i respect them, but i just can't get into the music like i could when i was 13. i'm sure the new cd will do very well though.

that's cool. Green Day is a pretty highly respected band in the punk genre. i am willing to bet that at least 80%-90% of the new punk bands featured on this site were influenced by Green Day one way or another.

i'm guessing that you're right. they have been around for a while.

for sure -- green day brought pop-punk to the masses in the early nineties -- hell, i've had dookie since my brother brought it home in '93.
