Can anyone reccomend some new bands? some bands i like are Blink 182 senses fail greenday hidden in plain view alexisonfire dont look down jimmy eat world something corporate thursday poison the well my chemical romance fallout boy mxpx nofx and some others but thats just to show you some stuff i like, and i'm open to new stuff and different types of music so lemme know, thanks guys :wink3:

the format, limbeck, the postal service, minus the bear, pedro the lion, boys night out, a change of pace, a static lullaby, the bank robbers, enkido, the lifestyle, mourning september, between home and serenity, color blind light, the bled, funeral for a friend, underoath, daphne loves derby, emery, dead poetic, name taken, motion city soundtrack, the chemistry, the matches, emanuel, madison, every time i die, greeley estates, the fastlane, saosin, waking ashland, lucked out, tokyo rose, breaking pangaea, ache:emelie, the smashup, monroe, dead to fall, grey lines of perfection, burning bright, misery signals, number one fan, keepsake, stretch arm strong, hopesfall, showbred, no hollywood, a wilhelm scream, mewithoutyou, the beautiful mistake......
I dont know if any of these are what your looking for.. theres a good mix...you can find most of these bands and more in other threads... just try any of them that say "im looking for new bands" or anything like that... or just go to www.purevolume.com and find bands.. its easy.
I have only one recommendation: MUMRAH.
This is partly because they are the most awesome punk-ska-prog-wibbly-wobbly-jazz-Arabian-death-surf band in the land, and partly because I was born in a chicken coop and have lived solely on seed a baby hatchlings for the last 21 years. I've never left the coop or heard any other music. Will you be my friend? Waaah, waaah.

check out the Matches, Ima Robot, and Staring Back. All great bands they played the Warped Tour this year.

are the be-all and end-all in terms of music. Sure, da Vinci could paint, and William Tell was pretty nifty with a bow (and an overture), but when it comes to twisty-shouty-glorious-ska-pronk-Dixie-magic, leave it to the experts.

Hey, WankingInMisery, or whatever your name is, I've got to get the word out about my band somehow. This seemed a good way to do it. And rather than just leave a link to the website everywhere (which would be very easy to do), I've tried to make my posts more interesting and informative, DESCRIBING the band as best I can (with a faux-sensationalism thrown in for comic value).
If you are so very clever that you only investigate bands that claim to be crap, then you will probably find just that, crap bands. What should I do? Say we're a fucking emo band and watch everybody flock to the site? Come on, even I have standards.
