We are" The Perfect Mistake" from Brooklyn, NY:

Accomplishments

-Summer 03' with an average band age of 13 and a half and no resources for promotion but the word of mouth, The Perfect Mistake exploded from nowhere, selling over 1,000 copies of 3 demos and gave a new face to the lifeless scene that was Brooklyn, New York
-That following Winter, TPM hit the studio to record their full length EP titled "In Flames" that which showcased the band's musical strengths in clever songwriting, contagious guitar hooks and overall solid catchy rock songs
-In December of 04' TPM were featured on the front page of Purevolume, holding positions of number 1 overall artist, number 1 unsigned artist and number 1,4, and 6 songs throughout the Purevolume community.
-In March 06' TPM hit the studio once more this time with producer Mike Watts (the fold, the Almost, As cities Burn) to record their newest release "A step in the Right Direction.
-In the Summer of 06' TPM were featured on the front page of Purevolume for holding the number one slot for overall unsigned artists and most downloaded song for three weeks.
-12/18/06 TPM has skyrocketed to #4 on Purevolume TOP 10 artists beating out Fall Out Boy, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Panic at the Disco, and Paramore
-1/07 TPM was chosen top unsigned artist by Fuse and as a result they performed 2 songs and had an hour long sit down interview on "Steven's Untitled Rock Show" in the Spring of 07'
-2/1/08 TPM were featured in Alternative Press Magazine's AP&R section.
-7/28/08 TPM played "The Warped Tour" in English-town, NJ on the Ernie ball Stage along with "Forever the Sickest Kids" "The Audition" and "Charlotte Sometimes"
-Toured with bands such as "Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, All Time Low, Monty Are I, Socratic, House of Fools, the Summer Obsession, Cute is What We Aim For, Spitalfield, Hidden in Plain View, cartel, and many many others"
-The Perfect Mistake have currently taken a break from touring to record their new album, slated for a Summre 08' release

-Let us know what you guys think of us. We are now shipping our new cd to labels and are hoping for the best.
