Aren't they technically on their own label, Roswell Records, though? I think the deal with RCA, and presumably now Universal, was just a distribution one rather than a typical contract.

At least that was my understanding...

Universal basicly owns everything. I don't even know if Universal owns RCA

I think Universal owns about 20% of me nowadays.

The Foo Fighter will always be one of the best rock n' roll acts out there. "The Colour And The Shape" was incredible and since then they've kept moving forward. Good for them.

one last thing before I quit
I never wanted any more than I could fit into my head
I still remember every single word you said
and all the shit that somehow came along with it
still there's one thing that comforts me
since I was always caged and now I'm free

Haha I dont think it really matters. Dave Grohl does what he wants when he wants.

Foo Fighters move to Universal Records.

Actually this is not true. They are still signed to RCA Records. Universal Music Publishing is now their music PUBLISHER - not record label.
