Bassist urgently needed to complete and secure the frontline!!
Melodic Punk/Pop-Punk band requires the A1 skills of a bassist. We have a few simple things
that are a must.
1) Giggable gear (you will be competing with quads that are very loud, soon anyway)
2) Melbourne, Australia based
3) Willing to travel, transport is a must
4) "The Look"
5) Commitment - no time wasters and willing to give up other commitments for practice/gigs.
BASS PLAYERS ONLY, NO GUITARISTS PLEASE!!!!!!!
6) i dunno what goes here but im sure ill think of sumfin...
7) 18yo to 24yos
A Bassist with vocal abillities is a bonus!!!. Transport is a must we cant afford someone who
uses the excuse "i cant get there, got no car, cant get a lift" that is just not on ok.
Our influences are starting line, blink, nfg, slick shoes, mest, lagwagon, nofx, bodyjar,
millencollin, one dollar short, simple plan, taking back sunday, rufio, less than jake, frenzal
rhomb, pulley, afi, unwritten law, dashboard, sum41, strung out, the ataris, descendants, mxpx,
fenixtx, britney spears, bowling for soup, the used, goldfinger, saves the day, justin
timberlake, yellow card, good charlotte ...the usal you get my point yeh?? and our skills are
reputable.
Currently we are a line-up of Guitar by 2 and drums. E.P to be recorded by christmas and gigs
as soon as we complete the line-up and have a decent set list.
We are all located in and around Melbourne, committed and take this very seriously but have
much fun at the same time. We don’t want time wasters or guitarist applying with the excuse "oh
I play guitar, I can play bass if you want" sick of these guys. We want a full on bassist that
lives, breaths, tastes bass...simple right not to much to ask??? :)
We mainly practice at a studio at night (9pm - 12am) and weekends on a regular basis so expect
to work hard and have fun.
