Anyway, The Bled rocks, and I wouldn't quite consider them the quintessential hardcore band for AP kids, if there was such a thing. Not many hardcore bands are equally influenced by the cynicism of Every Time I Die and the straightforward pummeling of early Refused.

I heard rumors they were going straight melodic for this, and I'm hoping they die in that same condition.

that was the idiotic comment i was addressing. the whole point of my post was that a band doesn't suck based on who they tour with, it just exposes them to a different audience thus helping them gain more fans. murder by death has toured with senses fail in the past, which is the dtr band i'm assuming you were talking about, and they definitely aren't a joke.

it has nothing to do with what genre a band is. i know the bled aren't exactly "hardcore" so i could care less if you think they're watered down. it also has nothing to do with the fact that the bled and mbd make two very different types of music, that's a given. it was solely the above comment that pissed me off.
