SVT PRO 4 problems

I have been having problems with this amp. First off, is the peak light supposed to come on at the preamp when I have the preamp knob turned all the way down? Is that right? I think the amp is getting overheated and causing issues. Anyone else have feedback on this amp? I like the way it sounds I just can't trust it and might sell it.

I've heard a lot of stories of Ampeg amps having fan issues so it might be what you said, overheating. I never heard of any problems with this amp in particular and I know some people that have it.

Check out the fan though.
