No offense but I think thats pretty much what the idea of this site was when it was created. Why would news posters post about bands they dont like? Do they even care about other bands? Obviously not if they dont listen to them. Do you go to websites of bands that you hate? No. Stop complaining and be happy with what is here.

excuse me denver harbor. apparently i've been misinformed. i thought this site was designed to show news about punk/rock bands without bias. but you're saying that the point of the site is for the reviewers to show bias? to give special attention to their friend's bands while ignoring others? "my american heart is on the front page of purevolume!"

not being rude or anything, but this site isn't some organization run by the people. its a site about music run by some people. One of those people is Kamtin and he actually likes My American Heart. He obviously thought it was cool that they were on the front page and decided to post it here. All of the news posters here post what they want. I am assuming you come here because sometimes they post the stuff that you really did want to hear about. This site does a great job of keeping people informed. Sometimes there are things you don't care to read, sometimes there are. I personally just come here and skim. if a band's name pops out at me because I like them or for any other reason, then I will read about them and then see what people have said in the replies. You don't have to read everything or get all roused about something like this. You're probably going to have some comment back to me trying to one up me. if not I appologize for assuming, but that's just what many people here do. I didn't mean this to be rude or mean. I was just saying my opinion on it all. I hope ya take it as that. Peace.
