Man this franchise needs to die. I can't believe that every year they make another one and its somewhat of a hit. The last two were so disappointing as was the second one. I hate how they all conjoin at the end and you got remember exactly what happened in the last two films.

Saw is an amazing movie and they should have stopped it then. Thats the only ending worth wild.

Sequels are the bread and buttter of cheap horror, but I don't get the enthusiasm for the Saw movies. The first one wasn't bad, and it was pre-torture porn crazy, but 2 sucked and each one since has been a poor example of a direct to DVD release allowed to go wide. The stories suck, the shock moments are perdictable, and the acting is awful.

The first one is a classic to me. It's ending took me completely by surprise and the general tone was very creepy to me.

The second one I enjoyed very much as well, and loved how they tied it to the first, as well as the ending.

the 3rd and 4th didn't do that much for me.

I guess with each one, I like seeing if they can redeem the franchise.
