I love that movie.. it was amazingly hilarious. Tarantino is awesome. All of his films are good, and the fact that he uses Uma in like half of them.. that makes it even better. She's pretty hot. I probably wouldn't do her though.

I finally saw the movie the other day (I know, it took me forever) any Quetin Tarantino Film is awesome but there are a lot of unanswered questions in that fiim. Where does Bruce Willis fit in? The main plot is focused on John Travolta and Samuel Jackson but when Travolta Gets shot by Willis is that supposed to be after Jackson got out of the game? And what the hell is in the briefcase? I watched it twice and I still can't figure this shit out. Anyone know? It's still a good movie and recommend it to everyone.

After, which might explain why Vincent and Wallace (who was out buying donuts at the time of the shooting) were watching Willis's appartment.....and not Vincent & Jules...????

Wallace's soul is in the case
The combination is 666
Wallace has a band aid on the back of his neck (supposidly, this is where the soul is extracted)
everything involving Willis, is after (chronilogically) the majority of the rest of the story.
Throwback
12/27/04, 09:34 PM
It goes, in my humble opinion:
Scene where Jules and Vincent kill Brett
Vincent accidentally kills Marvin so they get cleaned up at Jimmy's house
Vincent and Jules go to breakfast where they stop Hunny Bunny and the other guy from their robbery and Jules quits
Vincent and Jules go to see Marsellus right after Butch gets done with the meeting
Vincent then takes Mia out
Butch throws the fight and flees, goes back to his apartment, kills Vincent, then he gets taken to Zed's place

Wallace has a band aid on the back of his neck (supposidly, this is where the soul is extracted)
.
Actually that was put there to cover up a scar that Ving got as a kid, which Tarantino didn't want arousing any "attention" from the audience....

honestly i always thought yo uwere never supposed to know and that it was just supposed to be an enigma
i once read a story about a guy who knew a guy who made a bet with quentin that he could beat him at a miniature golf course that qt was basically a god on. to the amazement of all, the guy won, and as the bet stipulated quentin had to reveal what was in the briefcase. his answer: a mint condition copy of amazing spider-man #1. the overwhelmingly likely possibility is that this story is complete bullshit, but i personally like the story and i like the answer, so i choose to believe it. it makes perfect sense in the movie and is consistent with quentin's personality.
best part is when they shoot that guy in the face.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

The soundtrack to his movie is amazing. One of my favorite soundtracks. Tarantino always has great soundtrack to correspond with his movies.

Mia Wallace.
And your partner?
VISHINT VEGUH.
Yolanda I thought you said you were gonna be cool. Now when you well it makes me nervous. And when I get nervous, I get scared. And when motherfuckers get scared that's when motherfuckers accidentally get shot.

After one of my friend's shows, we all went to the bar area and this came on the tv. Everyone just sat there and watched it.

That reminds me. I went to a show at a club with bars on opposite sides. On one side, they were playing Kill Bill Vol 1 and on the other, Fight Club. I was so conflicted.
That would be tough..those are two of my faves

That's what I came to say.
Also, BSF breaking up is a shame. :(I didn't realise how old the thread was until I read that. I still miss them.
It's the dialogue. Right from the start it's off and running with tidbits about overseas McDonalds and such. Great, great film.
Definitely, 100% about the dialogue. Tarantino's best work is the stuff with excellent dialouge. Pulp Fiction ranks # 1 here, the conversation in this movie is hysterical and great.
The dialogue in this and in Reservour Dogs are certainly far better than those that followed it. It sounds like guys hanging out and just chatting. When he introduces pop culture references it sounds natural, a bunch of little fonzies or like a virgin. Unlike the dialogue from his later films David Carradine's monologue at the end of Kill Bill 2 sounds fake and forced. Like a poor imitation of a Tarantino scene.
This is a great movie. you cant really go past the cast! though reservoir dogs remains my favourite tarantino film

BUMP. Decided to throw this on (haven't watched it in a long time) and it's still one hell of a movie. Such great dialogue.
