Minus The Bear (www.minusthebear.com) (the best band many of you have never heard) are playing their first ever Long Island show this Friday, September 17th at Purple Haze (formerly Backstreet Blues) with Encrypt Manuscript, Paris TX and Statistics. i had no idea they had been signed to island...i saw em with braid awhile back, im glad they are on a major label now...too bad island sucks

Uhhh, they're not on Island. He said this was their first show in Long Island...

Their new EP is on Arena Rock Records or something like that =p

minus the bear owns every band posted about on this site.
if you have ever seen them live, the lead guitar player is insanely talented, he finger taps everything and its pretty amazing to see...everyone in long island who likes to shake their ass best go to this show

not the greatest band in the world, but their up there. im going to the show, at least i think. ENCRYPT is fucking amazing.

minus the bear is incredible.. sooooo good... if every band had members this talented -- there would be a lot more good bands... good bands like -- those bands who are good.

he is the former guitarist of botch...he is really impressive.

i just realized i'm wearing my minus the bear shirt right now...i'm so awesome.
