If anyone is in college...rate your college life so far (and where you go to school)

Personally, I like college...but at times I am really bored (6 at the moment)

I'm not so much into the "college life" (drinking, frat parties, that stuff), but I love it. The freedom alone makes it so worth it. So on a scale of 1 to 10 (which is what I think you want) I'd give it an 8...there are times that really suck, like staying up all night for an exam that you know you're gonna bomb anyway, but the perks are a lot better than the downfalls

I go to the University of Toledo

My college experience so far, I would rate a 3. College is just a big money pit. Hey, lets charge 80 bucks for a paperback textbook.

well, i suppose i'm a big party girl, i'm probably not going to have a liver by the time i graduate, i love football season, and i don't pay for shit because i have a few scholarships, so i'd say i'd rate my college life at around 9, especially because i live in a fucking awesome apartment now with my own bedroom and bathroom as opposed to the dinky little suite i lived in last year and the triple with the hall bathroom i lived in my freshman year

yeah I love college. I live with the coolest people, live in the best part of Milwaukee, have some money, have fun, have a fantastic boyfriend..party when i want to, relax when I want to. This is my junior year, and every year it just keeps getting better. 10/10

Last year I went to Boston University and I would give college a 3.
This year I go to Umass and I would probably give it a 4 or 5. I just don't really like the college life. To me it's boring and I'd rather be bored at home where it's more comfortable.

There's been so many college threads, but that's cool, it's something to talk about.

I got to Indiana Institute of Technology and I would rate my college life a...um, 7 thus far. I like it, but I don't lead the typical college student lifestyle because I don't party and drink. I'm actually enjoying the stuff I'm learning for the major I want to get and I love playing soccer here too. :) The only problem thus far is that our school is so small it's like I'm still in high school because everyone knows everything about everybody.

I'm a freshman Meterology student at the University of Oklahoma and all I have to say is that this has probably been the best month of my life. I think everyone should go to college.
I live by myself in the dorm (for now, they wanna move someone in with me or make me pay for a single ughh) but the guys on my floor are awesome. It is amazing. I've met so many people from lots of different places and backgrounds.
I've even met a person as much into the weather as I am and he's also into punk and emo like I am too. I've waited my whole life to be here and it's finally happening.
10!
Except for that Chem test I bombed, man was I pissed.

Like, 5/10 at most. Too many fucking nerds, too much work, too many hours to kill, and just so much money.

every aspect of college - education, party scene, etc. - deserves its own ranking. overall, i'd give it a 7 or 8 though. yeah, shit gets old after a while, but who really wants to be working full time at 20 years old? not this girl. butler's not necessarily a place i'd send my kid, but it's a place i'd like to come back to in 20 years and know that i did it the best that i could while i was stuck in this place...

college has been really fun on a small scale. too many people smoke here and as an athlete i have alot trouble being around those people (naturally i want to be around people who are more positive than negative)

anyway since everyone goes home for the weekend or smokes alot there arent any pick up games of ultimate or football, which saddens me. its gotten better though, as a i have meet and became close with a couple people already.

btw im a frosh at california of pa, majoring in graphic design.

I go to DePauw University, and I'm not into the drinking and Greek party scene, but I still love living on my own and being free to do what I want to do. The only thing is that there's absolutely nothing to do in this area (you have to drive an hour to get to Target even), so that is driving me crazy. I guess I'll rate my college life so far as a 6 out of 10 thus far.

Do you really? I go to SUNY Albany. Its pretty cool here, to be honest I think I would like going to Siena then here. I rate here about a 6/10, its really fun to party but I have to do so much work and some of the people are cool here but alot are just like kids who think they are in the Italian mob with their collars popped up and spiked hair and act tough even though they are Jewish kids from Long Island.....It would be cooler to be around kids more into the stuff I am into. I have a friend who goes to Siena, I visited him once and the people there were really chill, I also visited Boston and the kids there are really cool too.

College life is damn fun. 9/10

Parties are fun, there's always something to do, and you're entirely on your own to do it. Even though I go to school in a small town, there's always shit to do.

I'm at Bowling Green State University by the way.
