Past Lives has Jordan Blilie (vocals), Mark Gajadhar (Drums) and Morgan Henderson (Bass, Keyboards, Second Guitar) all from the Blood Brothers, plus original Blood Brothers guitarist Devin Welch. They have released an EP entitled Strange Symmetry. You can listen to them here (http://www.myspace.com/pastlivesmusic).
Jaguar Love has Johnny Whitney (Vocals, Keys) and Cody Volato (Guitar) from the Blood Brothers and Jay Clark (Drums, Bass, Keys). They recently released a full-length album entitled Take Me to the Sea and it is streaming at their myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/jaguarloveband).

This is harder than it should be. Initially when I found out about both bands, I wanted to like Past Lives a lot more, because Johnny is so damn full of himself...but for some reason I can't stop listening to Jaguar Love lately. I'm sure I'll get over them after a while though, so I went Past Lives.

Yeah, I didn't put in Neon Blonde or Head Wound City because both were done during the Blood Brothers and were side projects.

i haven't really heard enough of past lives to decide, and i really like them both, but i picked jaguar love because johnny's voice has more versatility and because they are more established as a band (full length as opposed to an ep)
