I am looking for...

A male singer somewhere in the range of a soprano (a high voice), who is vocally trained and who can play guitar, keyboard or just sing but it would be nice if they knew how to play an instrument too for writing purposes. Screaming would be an added bonus J

A rhythm/lead guitarist who can create ideas on the spot and who also has ideas to bring to the table. Singing/screaming would be an asset.

Bass player, same attributes as the guitarist. (see above)

A female presence; I like the idea of how bands have a female keyboardist who sings background melodies. This can be the last piece of the puzzle, but would be cool to have.

The Plan

Start date: September/October
Commitment: 2-3 years (It takes time to get somewhere)
Practice: 2-3 times a week
Record E.P. or album: 3-5 months after things are established
Play: Whenever we can but we will strive for once every weekend
Tour: Every summer we will tour across Canada and the States

Application process

Over 19, with no commitments that will disable you from jamming/touring.
Send me previous examples of your work along with picture(s) and your goals

I am looking for professional minded musicians who want to take their playing to the next level. Players, who can leave their ego at the door, have a good time and want the best for the music/songs.

This is really entertaining. This seems like the exact opposite way to start a band. Would you be the lou pearlman of the band or do you do anything?

Years later at a show:
"Wow man, you guys have great chemistry on stage!"
"Oh yeah, dude. My bandmates are like my brothers. We're like a family, it's so great playing music with people you feel so connected with."
"Aw, that's so sweet! How did you meet them?"
"Well, I filled out an application in triplicate, ink only, and because I was over 19, was available for at least 2-3 years, and had a soprano-like singing voice, I made it to call-backs and then eventually was hired on a provisional basis. Real chemistry!"

I am not sure why you are making fun of this post considering it is pretty much the same as soo many others on here. I have a vision that I am trying to follow and am trying to find like minded people, which you are obviously not. If there is chemistry great, if not we will move on. Simple as that.
