Pearl Jam, U2, R.E.M., Paul McCartney, and Peter Gabriel are among the artists contributing songs to For The Lady, a benefit album for Burmese activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi. She has worked to promote democracy and human rights in Burma, and for the past 14 years the Burmese government has had her under house arrest. The album also includes contributions from Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, Sting, and Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello's solo alter ego, The Nightwatchman. The album--which will be released on 10.26--will raise funds for the U.S. Campaign For Burma. Tracklisting in the replies.
