Right after releasing the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds, Brian Wilson was all stoked to begin his new project SMiLE, which was going to be the big masterpiece of his career. Unfortunately, excessive drug use mixed badly with his psyche, and Brian was forced to postpone the creation of the album.
