Who Should I see?

Okay so I am in alittle delima, I want to see Girl Talk and Portugal. The Man but I dont know who I should see they both play on the same day November 7, one in chicago the other in Louisville. So I am leaving it up to you. Help me decide?

Portugal is pretty sweet live, but Girl Talk is one of the most fun parties you will ever go to. choose Girl Talk, because he's alluded quite a few times to the fact that he won't be touring for much longer. Portugal are gonna be around for a while... wait to see it.

Girl Talk will turn your life into a gigantic ecstasy trip for 2 hours... without drugs. its sublime.

Well i saw Portugal a week ago here, in chicago, and it was awesome. They were amazing live and so were RX bandits and maps & atlases

so awesome to see portugal get the love they deserve, i remember watching them so long ago when they were still called "anatomy of a ghost" being that they are from alaska, it is sweet to see some local bands get the love

and for anyone else interested in alaska bands needing in love > the lives of famous men, they used to play a bunch in anchorage as "subconcious" as a hard rock band, then they changed names and sounds and moved to portland

both are very good live, but my jaw was literally dropped wheni saw girl talk at all points west festival, it is just such an entertaining and good-hearted atmosphere opposed to appreciating originally composed music. i would certainly choose girl talk, portugal will be around they have that new album so thye will be touring off of that
