Just tell her that you have liked her for a while and see if she would want to go to a movie or dinner or something to that effect...

This is what ya do homeslice...
Do it over dinner...nothing too nice, maybe Houlihanns(sp?) or something to that nature. Good, but not too good. She isn't your girl yet. :lol2:
Buy her something cute and thoughtfull, but don't make a move untill after the meal. Cause if she shoots ya down, it'll ruin your steak, and THAT would be tragic. After dinner, insist on dessert (at least coffe).
This is when you present the small, cute, thoughtfull, gift and tell her that you know your just friends...But you really care about her and have for a while and would like to take the friendship to the next level.
And for the love of god, shower before the night. Wear something nice (again, but not too nice) and a little cologne wont hurt your battle. :wink3:

yeh, i agree with the shower thing, specially cos you might end up close (doesn't hurt to be optimistic!!), but just watch your timing, make a time when you can comfortably be alone with no interruptions, and just tell her how you feel... girls value honesty, and telling her she's the coolest chick you know wouldn't hurt!!
all the best man!

If you drive, then this will apply:
If things are going good then take her somewhere that you can be alone, but make it somewhere that it isn't obvious you're going in for the kill. Go somewhere like the park, or the lakefront *if you have one of those*

what theESCO wrote.. well, it just seems like that would be trying to hard (unless he's that type of guy).. but yeah, go for it. just be honest.

Too hard? lol...They love a little wine and dine. She'll appreciate that he put a little thought into a whole night instead of walking up to her in the hall at school and being like 'hey, ummm...i like you.'

It's a big cliché and I don't think girls fall for that (at least not anymore)

^listen to this one.
It happened to me and I thought it was the cutest thing ever.
He acted as if we were going to go hang out like usual, just like any other night, and we ended up on a hill overlooking a lake that had lights reflecting off the water. I could tell there was preplanning involved, because there just so happend to be a blanket in his trunk, but that made it all the more adorable, and so we spent the evening talking and watching stars and lights.. <3

It's not falling for anything, it's being thoughtfull. Shows them you really do care and are willing to put time and effort into a possible relationship.

damn i was gonna suggest you buy a new cd, ask her to come over to listen to it with ya, then make a joke to gauge her reaction to you... i.e - say something about you being close friends, then add 'you know we're probably going to end up drunkenly making out one day' or something like that.
if nothing else, it'll put the idea in her head. she'll be thinking about it for a few days...

the idea about ending up looking at a lake or a hillside, is the worst idea ever. They know what you took them there for, and if your just friends, and shes not feeling it at all, it will ruin the whole drive back to her place. Trust me.
dude though, get a car. Chicks dont date guys who dont have cars.

Your not young, and you shouldnt be poor. Your 16, that's old enough to be working and driving. Get on that shit dude...
