Hey everyone! I'm Rudy from a band called Throne Away (we're from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). It's my first time posting here but at no better time than now since Throne Away has just released our full-length album 'Terminals'.
About Us:
Throne Away was formed back in 2003 bent on writing songs tuned to the fashion of "pop-hardcore". The band released an online only demo entitled "More Than Knowing Nothing" on purevolume in early 2004 and headed back to the studio to record a mini-album/EP entitled "This Accident Was Meant To Be". The mini-album was released in 2005 and just about 6 months down the road, Throne Away was hit with a line-up change that only left 2 of the original members: Ian Koren and Rudy Khaw.
Refusing to give up, Ian and Rudy recruited Emir Syazwan on vocals, adding the amazing lead vocalist presence they lacked on stage and Hiro Maekawa to fill in on bass. The new line-up changed the sound of Throne Away, writing more diverse and creative songs, dropping the "pop-hardcore" tag to catch listeners off guard with sharp turns in their music.
ENTER TERMINALS
'Terminals' is an album that was recorded over a span of 2 and a half years. 11 tracks were recorded with Nick Lee of Ark studios and mixed/mastered by Sel of Purple houz in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The backbone of all the songs were recorded live (without a click) to capture the feelings that come with it just as Throne Away have always recorded. With all the songs finally done, Throne Away released 'Terminals' in its entirety for FREE online. The entire album can be streamed/downloaded at http://www.throneaway.com.

Throne Away has always been a band that's been split up by other commitments. The only thing that truly brings the band together is of course the music. Now without a bassist, and band members in different countries, Throne Away have been forced to take a Hiatus despite only just releasing 'Terminals' without having even played a release show.
