that being said, I don't really do much of it at all...just the basics (two-step, floor punch, windmill), some of the stuff is pretty ridiculous (spin kicks, cartwheels, etc)

I'm not talking about spin kicks and all that ninja shit, that's ridiculous. I'm talking about two stepping and windmills. Those seem like pretty natural reactions to hearing music and you want to move, get a nice bounce going and start throwing your limbs, but watch out for other people.

And you can disagree all you want, but if you've never seen kids in basketball shorts and things, you've never been to a "real" show. I don't really want to discuss what bands are hardcore or not, because then it ends up making me look like an ass, but just FYI, most of the bands that this site pimps as hardcore have no roots at all in the scene.

No dude, the "hardcore" bands here in Omaha like Barter the Trigger and Murder She Wrote and Analog arent "real hardcore bands" according to the hardcore kids I know. Barter and Murder she Wrote are Fashion core and Analog is Metal Core.

If you ever see Pull the Pin, those are the real hardcore kids in town, and they do wear alot of basketball shorts and stuff.

Nah, I actually saw white collar mercy and weather underground when they opened for scary kids scaring kids, then i saw them again at the rock for 89.7's thing like a week later. I thought white collar mercy was really really good. And yes the weather unground makes pretty bad music.
