for now, i'd suggest you stay within your age range - a year or two max. i'm sure there's a darling 8th grader you could mack on until you and your biddy are in your 20s - or at least in high school - and such an age difference is a normal phenomena. trust me, it'll be more meaningful if you just wait a while.
if you were smart, you'd go a year up instead. you're new to the whole high school thing, so why not establish yourself as the freshman who makes the sophomores swoon?
if, after all these online blows to your ego, you still decide to date the 6th grader, my only concern would be whose mom will be dropping you off at the mall... come on, man. she's 11. think about it.

Is that like a fresh 12? Or on the verge of 13, 12? haha...not like it makes too much of a difference..but at least maybe you wouldn't have to wait as long? If you think she is worth it though and mature just try to be friends with her for now and see how things progress but seeing as how she's so much younger I wouldn't expect too much out of it.

Definitely wait until she's a freshman at LEAST. Dude, you're sitting on a goldmine. You could be investing in the future. If you hook up with her now you guys would probably break up in about 2-3 weeks. If you keep in contact with her for a couple of years then she'll develop this HUGE crush on you that you can cash in anytime you want (but you MUST NOT until she's at least a freshman). There's nothing wrong with a senior dating a freshman. There IS something wrong with a junior dating an 8th grader or below. Here's a rule to live your high school life by. Never, EVER EVER EVER date a girl that doesn't go to the same school as you. NEVER. You'll get into a lot of trouble. Who cares if she's mature for her age? Yeah dude, just be her friend for now and you can cash in when she hit's 9th grade (she'll probably be way hotter by then too). AND, all your buddies will be trying to hit up on her but YOU will be the one to get all up in that. Patience is a virtue.
